On 24 August 2026 the United States removed Syria’s designation as a State Sponsor, and issued a fresh Tri-Seal Advisory — the final structural pieces of a relief programme that began with Executive Order 14312 and the repeal of the Caesar Act. Much of the economic isolation efforts against Syria have been removed, and there is much to discuss.
